The terms and conditions for using the VoxCPM AI voice generation platform.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VoxCPM (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

VoxCPM is an AI-powered voice generation platform providing:

  • Text-to-Speech (TTS): Convert written text into natural-sounding speech.
  • Voice Cloning: Create a personalized voice from a short audio sample (3-30 seconds).
  • Voice Design: Design custom voices by describing desired characteristics.

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Different generation types consume different amounts of credits. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice.

User Accounts

Registration

  • You may use the Service anonymously with limited features and daily quotas.
  • Full access requires account creation via Google OAuth or email/password.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.

Account Tiers

  • Anonymous: Limited to 120 characters per generation, 5 generations per day, data retained for 7 days.
  • Registered: Up to 500 characters per generation, 5 voice models, 5 voice designs.
  • Pro: Up to 1000 characters per generation, unlimited voice models and designs, priority processing.

Credits and Payments

  • Some features require credits, which can be obtained through purchases, subscriptions, or promotional grants.
  • Credits are consumed on a FIFO (first-in-first-out) basis.
  • Credits may have expiration dates. Expired credits are non-refundable.
  • Credit purchases are handled by third-party payment processors and are subject to their terms.
  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing and credit costs with notice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Create voice clones of individuals without their explicit consent.
  • Use the Service for fraud, impersonation, or deceptive purposes.
  • Attempt to bypass credit systems, quotas, or payment requirements.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models underlying the Service.
  • Use automated tools to create bulk accounts or submit bulk generation requests.
  • Upload audio containing malware, viruses, or malicious code.
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.

Intellectual Property

Our IP

The VoxCPM platform, including its underlying AI models (based on MiniCPM-4 architecture), code, design, and branding, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The VoxCPM model is released under the Apache 2.0 open source license for the core technology.

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of the text and audio files you upload.
  • Generated audio output is owned by you, subject to these Terms.
  • By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including:

  • Google OAuth for authentication
  • Stripe / PayPal for payment processing
  • Cloudflare R2 for file storage
  • ComfyUI for AI inference

We are not responsible for the availability or practices of these third-party services.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • Generated audio quality may vary based on input quality and model limitations.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
